In our galaxy alone, there are milllions of stars. I believe the latest thinking is there are 2 trillion galaxies. Thinking the universe revolves around us might be a little self centered..
-
Going there? It would take a lifetime to get there or more.
-
They'll come to see us soon enough and it won't be pretty.
-
And only 39 light years away!
That's only 186,000 x 60 x 60 x 24 x 365 x 39 miles away.

A fair piece, I don't think a Guzzi would make it without some serious repair.

Not even the V7's with their high-capacity tanks?

When I was a kid, an aunt gave me a book called, "Sun, Moon, and Stars." We would *never* get to the moon, much less any planets, and here's why.
All we have to do is figure out that space time thing..

I dated a girl like that. Once.

My soon to be 6 year old son Leander is deep into space and space travel. He says he wants to be the second person on Mars. He thought I should go first because the radiation has less effect on older people and if I get back ok he'll go. Love that boy!

Upon further reflection , a correction to my earlier post is in order . If Chuckie or Kirby are at the stick , and we can make a couple of stops along the way , it's all good  Not the flying that is scary , more that I just wanna know who is driving the damn thing .

Make it Kirby. He still does it every day. I barely fly enough to be current.. although you'd still be as safe as in your momma's arms.

The sun has only one Earth like planet, I am told, and she must be jealous to hear that silly little Red Dwarf has seven! Is that fair? Is it PC? Smeg!
Meanwhile, back at the solar system, the Sun deals with it ...
