Just curious if this is possible.
There seems to be nothing on the web though I did find some pics of a Griso 4 valve in a Tonti Frame.

Why not just keep the Spine frame?
-
I think the prototypes were in Tonti frames modified.
-
It won't fit. Tonti frame down tubes won't clear the cam belt covers. The spine frame came before the hi-cam engine.

I've never seen one of these things in the flesh so to speak.
It seems the old tonti box is used, to allow the whole unit to fit the frame.
Of more interest to me is the use of carbies on the 8V motor,
Would love to learn more about how "tractable" the motor is compared to the standard injected unit.

Paul used carbs on his Daytona engine. He made a pretty cool bike. :thumb:

It looks like that the front down tubes have been modified to fit the cam belt covers.
Any other frame changes required?
Curious about what carbs were used too.

Looks like Del '0rtos.
-
That looks awkward at best. The new 8V looks like a much better fit and is probably a better motor for daily use.
-
It looks super!

I didn't make this one, but it runs in my country. It took some tube bending, and the tank needed some adjustment too. The heads stick out nice this way.
