Hi,
Wish to adjust head/steering bearings on a '98 EV? Could someone be so kind to give me step by step instructions?
Thanks

I think nobody has answered because there are so many pitfalls to avoid. The first one is that it probably needs the bearings repacked with grease. You might want to do a complete front fork service, what is its history?

I assume you are replacing them as they all rust due to poor or no seals. I was taught years ago to put the bike on the centerstand and jack up the motor so the front wheel is just off the ground. Then tighten nut gradually so the handlebars stop moving when you touch them. Then back off until the do move off center when you do touch them just barely flopping side to side. Better if you remove the cable or controls so they don't interfere with that movement.
