Title: Griso Question

There is a 2007 Griso for sale near me and I am a little lost on engine issues. Did these have tappet issues or any other problems that I don't want to deal with? I'm pretty good at picking out nice doughnuts but not so much Moto Guzzis. It looks to be a nice bike.

Only 8V-1200 motors produced between 2008 and mid 2012 have tappet and cam issues.

I own an '07 with close to 50,000 miles on it.  If I had room in my garage I'd make the 3,000 mile trip to pick it up.

Looking at it the only thing it may need is a new brake pads which are cheap.

Women have shoes in different colors why can't we do the same with Griso's?

Unless you're looking for a bike priced to "flip"(hope not),  you found a bike for life..

I had a 2007 Griso that I bought new in 2009.  It was flawless over the time I owned it.  It's a great bike.

No but I bet if you search the KC Craigslist you will find it.  :tongue:

Not like there are that many Guzzis for sale there.
