Just discovered this on Netflix.   excellent

If you like very custom homes that reflect an owners vision.

I am big fan of This Old House on PBS.

start to finish in one episode, very well done

It's a nice series with dream projects. It extends a lot of seasons. If you are into torrents, there you can download all seasons.

I've always enjoyed 'Grand Designs', it's been going for years now. As the title suggests the focus is on the Design aspect of the building rather than the DIY. They have a lot of unusual and 'outside the box' projects portrayed.
