Enquiring minds want to know.

Not entirely sure how many of those there are, but, as you asked ...  :grin:

Just got the following in an email from George, my ST1300 buddy in Georgia, who is leading a contingent of "Other Brand" riders to the mutton meet and meat.  I note the routing he plans is via slab.   :rolleyes:

George included this video which records last year's run; it's quintessential George:

======

All, I talked to our brother Dennis , and he will not be making the journey because he wants to travel the world with his “smoken hot wife." That said, I told him I would keep him on the emails for his situational awareness!

Bill Hagan, we will meet you on the top of the state, tear the meat off of a lamb leg, have some covert, obscure, real, Kentucky bourbon, tour the graves of your ancestors, except for….

Brent, who will drink some chocolate milk with macadamia cookies.

Kevin, who will explore the eating establishments with me in tow.

Mark will explain how great it is to be a Harley Man and how chicks will search him out for fun and amusement.

And Derek will brag on is new crotch rocket and explain he is not going to push it as it is still breaking in. It will be a grand trip.

I will buy 50 raffle tickets as I won $2,500.00 last year.

Mapquest route - https://www.mapquest.com/directions/from/us/ga/atlanta/to/us/ky/owensboro (https://www.mapquest.com/directions/from/us/ga/atlanta/to/us/ky/owensboro)

=====

So, Muzz, it will be fun, especially when we introduce Chuck and his son to the initiation rites after supper at the Moonlite and "refreshments" back at the hotel.   :boozing:   :grin:

I just checked a few travel sites.  Saw $1200 USD R/T CHC to IAD.  Looking harder would likely do better.  That and five hotel nights on the trip, and you'd would not have to spend a farthing (or whatever it is you Kiwis spend  :wink:) more after you got here. The Hagan B&B is available gratis, along with a Guzzi, gear (better call ahead for sizing!  :shocked:), and gas.

Think NIKE.   :azn:

Bill

I can but enjoy the exploits of the Intrepid band of Brothers as they explore the culinary delights of this epic journey. :grin:

I will never make it to the States Chuck but that does not stop me from wanting to do a trip like that proposed. Just sounds awesome. :thumb:

I expect progress updates as it unfolds of course. :boozing: :drool:

Your low expectations shall be met.   :grin:

I also figure that video made the "no way" decision about coming over easier.   :wink:

Hardly Bill, it all looks an absolute hoot. :thumb: I read up about "burgoo" last night. Sounds interesting.

What is it, about 10 weeks to go? I actually did a search on Owensboro last night. Sounds as though St Marys is not the only BBQ going, but it does sound as though it is about the best. :drool: :boozing:

You've got me confused there.
Kid is goat meat, not mutton. Really really good, though.

"The Kid" is Chuck's son. I think it is the guy who Chuck once said "didn't fall too far from the tree". Planes, bikes, mechanical type things. All that good stuff. :thumb:
