 Where is that shot of the Rio Grande Deke ? Looks very familiar .

Santa Elena Canyon, half of which is in Big Bend National Park.  The other half (left side of the photo) is in Mexico, of course.

 Thanks , that's what I thought , but have shown a distinct lack of ability to identify locations  :rolleyes:

 Now you have to do Oklahoma .

Thanks for the photos. Brings back memories. I used to canoe down the Guadalupe river with my Dad in the early/mid sixties.

Some great shots - but you missed the springs at Balmorhea State Park!  :grin:

will you settle for a somewhat interesting storm-downed tree nearby, also in the town of Balmorhea?  Otherwise, I didn't take a shot of the pool...
