Nice collection there Monsieur Zhay Zhay!
I can't imagine a good excuse for giving up the V11 however...especiall y in that Champagne color!
I can't believe you haven't color coded those Red horns to match the flaming yellow Centauro!

I certainly do like all those bikes.
I owned a yellow Centauro for some years (35,000 miles worth) .... I cried when I test-rode John's lovely low mileage SPIII and couldn't fit my knees behind the fairing two-up ... and I've always liked the sporty ones though I've never had a Sport or LeMans ....

I sold the V11 Le Mans to a good friend...who still has it...because I moved to Germany 2004-2005 and I was not sure if I could get it registered there, etc. I wound up buying a mint 1993 Triumph Trident 900 (3-cylinder / 100 HP / 6-speed) - see photo - and that was a BLAST to ride over there for two years. Bought for 2500 Euros - sold 2500 Euros two years later. Good bike!
Yes, I added those dual "RED" Hella horns (from Germany) and they blase 111dB, because I can FART louder than most of the stock horns, especially on Guzzi's!! I take a lot of crap from my fellow Guzzisti for this mod, but it is effective and practical!
On my Victory, I installed a STEBEL (also German) 12-volt Nautilus "Air Cannon" horn and that is a REAL blaster(114dB) and gets everyone's attention!! :thumb: Can be heard >3 blocks away!!

So, if you could which one would you like to have back or keep the current ride?

I have the yellow '98 Centauro GT now...and it's a keeper. :thumb:
I would say, for a second cool Guzzi, the original 1978 850 Le Mans....one in that condition today (photo from the Barber Museum) would bring $15-$20K....(sigh) I believe I paid $3800 (something like that...) brand new in Austin, TX back in the day!

Had to chuckle, as I've had both of those horns on my Rover in the past...even painted the red ones blue to match my Rover...that's why I was giving you grief about "color matching" to the Centauro Giallo! They are both good ones...I'd love to have a train horn on the motorcycle too...would clear a path as if Moses were parting the Red sea!

I was cut-off a year or so ago on my Vision...by a moron on this cell phone in his huge, white, Cadillac SUV...when I pressed the horn...it went...."Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrt" - - again...similar to a mouse-fart!
That's when I invested in the Stebel Nautilus Air Cannon. The first time I blasted someone...they literally almost went off the road....they too, were on a cell phone!
Next to an "unreliable" motorcycle...there is NOTHING in this world (IMHO)....WORSE.... than a motorcycle with a weak, pathetic, mouse-fart like horn!!

Nice sequence of cool bikes JJ.
