I just had to share this little gem. I'd get it but i want something that'll reach speed limits!

Is that crankcase induction? Rotary disk valve?
-
I passed on one a few years ago for $900.
Expensive toy!!

There's something rather attractive about an unrestored machine in good shape!

Nice. And it comes with a permanent license plate.

It'll probably go 45mph, once refreshed. That'll break some speed limits.
I'd guess that the induction is piston-port...

That bike on Miami CL is not running and has no title. It also looks to me as if it has been painted. Notice the painted-over corrosion in many areas.

I have looked at the many photos on line and for the life of me I cannot see the tract entering the cylinder. It looks as though it enters the crankcase at the base of the cylinder.
I would have expected it to be piston ported.
Edit. Found it. The Cardellino was a development of the Motoleggera which had a rotary disc valve. There ya go! :thumb:

Racer handlebar, wrapped exhaust............ ........fear no speed limit.
