Just been into town to the Guzzi dealer, looked at the new Bobber & Roamer. Tank looks a bit of an odd shape I thought but nice looking bikes.
Anyway parked outside was this cool old Indian 1935 I think the owner said. Worth over $100k, watched him ride off across town. Sounded very nice, his buddy was on a Norton of some description but the Indian stole the show.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170429/a6f5d2fb95757570ba10f7f392e69ea0.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170429/014f8fecb39424968bdf8625937703c4.jpg)

Ahh , the Indian 4 , probably the best expression of American motorbikes from that era . Lovely , thanks Kev :bike-037:

$100K is probably close to right, that's pretty bold riding that thing out and about on the mean streets. I'm sure he has good insurance. That's why (as we discussed) so many old bikes just sit in the living room, good to see a pretty one like this out showing the colors ....

One of the coolest motorcycles ever created!! I wish POLARIS would make a modern version, but it would have to look just like this!! :thumb:  :1:

He better grad that 100,000. Market is soft for those.

It was a design taken from Henderson. Back in 66 I had an opportunity to purchase one of those for 550 dollars but
didn't have the money. It languished in the shop for about 3 months before someone took pity on it and bought it.
It was in running condition too wearing a license. My how the price on old motorcycles has inflated.

Worth every bit of that IMHO, these must be rare in that condition.
I heard him say it came out of some noteable persons collection but didn't catch who.
Lovely old bike in any case, and great to see it out and about.
