Fer crissakes where is the sun?

Back there on that island where you left it.

The sun never comes out in Illinois .... or did the Chamber of Commerce leave that out ... ?

You'll have to climb above the cloud layer.

It rained 28 out of 31 days in April and it doesn't help when total sunshine this year is only 70 hours so far...

MIGHT be good next week...hoping...

Excuse me Timmy but my April is only 30 days long, even in a leap year which this ain't.
How come you rate an extra day of rainy weather?
On what day did you get 70 hours of sunshine?

The sun will appear soon enough. Patience, grasshopper. I lived in Illinois as a kid and the sun did appear. Of course that was between the thunderstorms, tornados and cicadas. I quite enjoyed it.

as for 70 hours, that is the total sunshine since January 1st 2017 up to last week when May rolled over.

Well it didn't rain today.  in fact went outside to do some yard work as the temperature rose.
Eventually it got up to 65 and I was in fear of the cancer risk of so much surprising solar phenomena.

It's been an unusual year weatherwise, so far, in the smallest state.  Every month there have been a few days that are nice enough that I've been out on the bike.  So far, I've put on 1700 mi this year, surprising considering that I don't start a ride if it's raining or below 55F.

She used... sarcasm. She knew all the tricks, dramatic irony, metaphor, bathos, puns, parody, litotes and... satire. She was vicious.

She sounds like my ex wife.   So you knew her too?

60F, blustery dry wind, frost on the higher mountaintops, just great.  In addition to a fine ride, took the little ones to the Asheville Museum of Science.

Squatch...........r emember when I told you about Kingman, Az.?  It's sunny here almost all year.   Kinda like Hawaii in that respect.  We can ride all year here if we want to.  When we get snow maybe 2x a year,  it melts by the end of the day so take a pic before it does.  Well, you made your decision........... :azn:

Yeah, my decision was mostly financial.  When I lived here before, I was a year round rider.
 But I was younger then.

Jim, the wx has been totally freakin crazy this year. It's definitely not "normal" but I'm afraid it may never be "normal" again. I can count the nice days we've had this year on one hand. Welcome back to the midwest.. <grumbling and shuffling off>

Chuck, are you one of those folks I used to see when I would go to those mini rallies in western Indiana.
They were at a defunct school building in the covered bridge territory.  Lotta fun they were.

Yeah, I took Peter Egan for a ride in the sidecar there. I didn't know who he was, just figured he was another Guzzi guy.

That's what happens when you live upside down.

However according to Frodo you do live in a beautiful place.
