Ya well right after that he says he will not be low balled. So I take say we go 50/50 on which one is the best line but if you put those 2 lines together then the laughter factor goes up exponentially. :thumb: :popcorn:

Yeah it's pretty difficult to replace the pan gasket. :sad: I thought maybe the oil drain plug was out and he didn't have the time to screw it in. :laugh: :laugh:

Exactly. It's a "Barn Find", those are the magic words with which you can conjure $1200 out of a $350 parts basket.
I'm surprised that there's not a video with it showing someone unveiling it from under a ratty tarp with hay on it. That would be worth another grand easy ....

I've seen that bike before, same bloated hyperbole.
It is a good laugh. But I would gladly pay him 1k(krugerrand), I can get one for 50USD on the internet. :grin:

Sad to see such a beautiful bike in such poor condition. Laugh all you want, poke fun etc but that is a damn shame.

Can't you buy one of these in running order for $3K or less ? It's gonna cost that much to bring this one back , probably why he is selling it . The Motobecane thing is cracking me up :laugh:
