1st year Le Mas would be the one to have.
This bike is a bit scruffy and needs some attention to turn it into a real nice machine but it has a lot of potential.
-
A nice sharp white '86.

Agree 100% - 3 bids - Reserve Not Met - at over $5K now...I predict it will bring $8K-$10K...or maybe more! :thumb:  :1:

Now the seat on that one looks comfy, and not cut down too low like so many are.

I have a `81 CX100 and the lowers are missing on this 1 if you want a complete 1. However I took my lowers off too. The seat is not comfy. That's why mine has a Corbin on it. :azn:

I've owned this '86 for over 20 years and not sure I would part with her for $6500....and I have the stock exhaust as well as seat to go with it.

Lowers are in the sale. Missing the rubber around the headlight, but I think Harper's and the other usual suspects sell that piece.
My CX was a mess when I got it, the miles of wires, broken brackets, etc. were ditched after a few years, but one in great shape are worth keeping as that little fairing works really well. I kept the lowers for some time and got use to sticking my knee's beyond the panels but they went too.

Yes, that fairing works great and I got rid of the rubber around the headlight because on mine it never fit right. The CX is the only Le Mans that has a top triple tree to mount a conventional handle bar on and I have done that for more comfort long distance. I left the clip ons on too as they aren't in the way. What I like about the fairing stock windshield is if it's raining, I hunker down a little bit and the rain goes right over the top of me instead of hitting my helmet @ 65 mph or faster. At Laguna Seca races 1 year I saw 2 euro LM IIs that had installed taller windshields on their fairings, but I see no need for that.

:1: on the CX100. The SP for the same year has better coverage for rain. Both are great for rain protection.
