Does anyone here have a Handy jack. Can't find many reviews and am going to get either the J&S or the Handy. Both US made and about the same price but the Handy extends a a few inches higher. Have noticed all the shops have Handy Lifts and they swear by Handy.

I do not have that brand, but I do have that type if jack.
Will that platform work with your bike? On my V7II the exhaust pipe are lower that the frame, so I would need to make an adapter.
The jack I have was not made in the US (Harbor Freight), and was one-fifth the cost. It also has outriggers that help stabilize the jack and load, and provide tiedown points for more stability. Looking at their online catalog they may no longer have those outriggers.
If you are looking for more height I suggest a table type lift. Yes, it takes more room. I store mine under a work table. You may be able to store it under a car. You will need a scissor jack to take wheels off. I have been pleasantly please with my Harbor Freight unit. They frequently have them on sale for $295 or so. I got a great price in Black Friday (but that's a bit away from now).
PS: I don't feel very comfortable taking a wheel off when using a jack like the one you asked about.

The jack will work for my bike without any adapter and was considering a lift which I do have room for. I mostly would like to use the jack for cleaning and oil changes and would agree with you about using a off shore made jack on a 725lb bike. There are many reviews from Harley owners about the J&S and how stable it is with big heavy bikes, not many I can find on the Handy though. Thanks for your input.
