I was told it was a 850 motor with a big bore kit? not sure. according to my freind at the machine shop the bore is 3.462 or 84 mm and the bottom bore is close to 88 mm. or 3.4646 reason im asking is i need a cyl due to rust from getting water inside and ruining the cyl. engine is stamped vc 092410 looks factory. thanks

ok i looked at the frame, thats my vin original motor...

the 88 mm is the outer diamitor. sorry about that. was on the phone and I mis typed!

Those are likely G5 or Convert cylinders.

Convert/G5/SP/CX100 cylinders are 88 mm inner diameter.

yeah, im just wanting to know what replacement parts i need to repair it. bike had 91,000 miles on it. has a burnt valve. havent took the other head off.

At 91,000 miles it'll need the sludge trap cleaning out and quite likely a crank grind. Barrels and pistons, tappets, maybe a cam, cam retainer plate, valves, seals and gaskets. My guess is there won't be much of the original engine left by the time you've fixed it.

Pete you sure know how to make a grown man cry....

Troy, if it's got Nicasil bores they'll probably be fine. It's the crap in the sludge trap and more importantly the crap it hasn't caught that will of caused the bearing damage.

You can get the cylinders resleeved.

they have damage from water itting in the cyl and rusting. on the swap meet theres a set of cyls and a cyl with a piston. id take a picture but i broke my camera.
