6,200 miles seems a bit long for an engine with only two quarts. What are folks here doing in practice?

No, no it doesn't. We're talking about modern synthetic oils,v probably be good for twice as long or longer.
I go at least a year or 6k, but then again I have a sump spacer.
Of course I'd do the same if I didn't have the spacer.

Up to 6,000 miles (10K kilometers).
First change was at 800.
At 4400 now and oil still looks fresh.
Due to the extreme heat where I spend most of my time, I will change at the end of August, even if it is not yet 6,000 miles.
