Title: Angel Nieto has died

Following a road accident. I was expecting it I guess but sad to hear.

Sure - he stayed with the dingers as long as any 5 other guys before they naturally moved up but.... DAMN!

It would be nice to know if Nieto had a helmet on when this unexpected accident happened.  I bet he didn't.

Just like I bet Nicky Hayden only had a Styrofoam helmet on when he got killed riding his bicycle and collided with a car.  Why don't we get told these facts?   :boxing:

Hayden almost certainly wore a helmet in that accident. Every photo of him riding bicycles with friends and family showed a helmet on his head.

Yeh quad bikes can be pretty dangerous for sure. Most riders wear no protective gear at all down here.
