Title: NGC - Having too much fun

Got bored one night so I built a potato gun using clear pvc pipe.  Got a chance to try it out last night.  Lots of fun I was surprised at how loud this thing is.  It was dark so have no idea how far the potato's were going.

I like the added visual interest of the clear PVC!  Peizo igniter?  In my Son's "research & development" he has found the igniters to be the weak link in the system...

For the igniter I used one of the old school Coleman lantern "flint" igniters.  Instead of mounting it in the center of the chamber I mounted it in the end.  Provides a lot of spark for a good white hot ignition.  Just like the primer used in gun ammo.  Wish I had a slow motion camera.

I need one for my ass-hat neighbor's drone. The plus would be pottle snacks for the other neighbor's horses!
