Yeah I wasn't paying attention and when I looked down it hit 9000+ in third.
Looking at the tach, yellow comes on at 7000 and red at 8000.
You know I tend to shift by sound and the sound really didn't change that much. No scream just more roar. Maybe it's my loss in hearing in one ear. reverse slope loss that looses the lows while the highs get better. Really weird like an old 1920's tinny mich.
I wonder if anyone has hit 10,000 and the engine lived to tell about it.

Actually, your V11 does have built in rev limiters. They are called intake valves. The first time you hit one, the revs will drop right off, and be severely limited after that. I don't recommend you find out where they are set.
