it could be just a vinyl wrap, got any info?

That is wood. As a furnituremaker/woodworker I have seen all kinds of similar items made from wood, and it shows the maker to be very skilled, even if we all seem to have a screw loose sometime.

It was on the internet - it's gotta be true!!
Sorry - no other info on this. It was in a collection of wood artistry.

So you wouldn't put a Beetle map in it then ?
-
Well sir you are correct, I will wait no longer.
I saw your post today and feel it may be un-poplar with some splinter groups on this boards forum. Using exotic wood for a scooter goes against the grain of some but I think it's oak. If yew could chisel the seller down on price and knot take a shellacing I say why knot! Ogee I forgot to tell you to stain touch and keep us posted if this branches out.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that although it's a treemendous effort, the seller will be pining when he hears the offers. Most people will leaf after seeing it. Yep, life's a beach!

By Gum. I think you have gotten to the root of this wooden bike thing. Guys who think bikes should be made of metal, are barking up the wrong tree. Priceless stuff RR!

Pimped out Vespa.
Hustle and phloem.

And when I awoke, I was alone - this bird had flown.
So I built a fire - isn't it good? Norwegian wood...

Nice fire starter......
