I will be heading out to the rally in Baxter Iowa (http://baxtercycle.com/34th-annual-baxter-cycle-motorcycle-rally/) this weekend. This is Not A Guzzi rally but is still one of my favorites. Great food, fun games, free camping, good rides, homemade ice cream.
All of the new triumphs will be available for free test rides. Last time I was there they did test rides as a group in about a 10 mile loop.
If any of you show up be sure to come on over for a slug of bourbon.

Are you talking about the open house on the 19th ? I can't find any reference to a show or rally.

I believe the reference is to the Open House at Baxter Cycle in Marne, Iowa. 19th and 20th of this month. It is indeed a very worth while event. If you are into vintage European and especially British bikes this place is heaven. Two days free camping, events and Triumph test rides. Its not listed as a rally but it really is. The vintage bike flea market is a trip in itself. Randy was at one time a Guzzi dealer and many of the faithful still show up. If you can make it, do it.
