Those BMW solo seats are extremely comfortable, and rare as hens teeth. I had a CS in gunmetal black, beautiful machine. Hold on while I kick myself for selling it.

Very nice! Reasonably priced for condition.
I've got Last Editions in CS and RS flavors, always on lazy lookout for an RT to complete the triad.
The pearlescent White is IMHO the prettiest paint ever on a motorbike

Looks like a nice bike and a reasonable price for someone who wants one.
I'd be conflicted about buying a bike like that, even though I like the model and the type of bike.
I'd want to ride it all the time, and it would get 10K miles a year or so (if I rode it like I do my Stelvio or Triumph, which I'd like to), and in a few years it would look worn and would have 40,000+ miles on it, and one more nice collectible would be gone.
On the OTHER hand, it's just a mechanical thing, and if you don't consider "depreciation", it would be a lot of fun and a lot of miles per dollar!

That is why I would not buy it. Get a V7, or V9, and have close to the same bike. I do not miss having an airhead.

Very nice but I'm partial to the '88 R100RS. Pearl white, blue striping, monoshock. I had the RT version and it was a wonderful bike.

I had that exact bike/color (RS), although it was a Canadian spec bike with a KM speedo (mph in small print, IIRC). Great bike although the stock seat was torture. The engine lacked charisma although it got good mileage and worked well with the bike. It was great in socal back in the 90's as most drivers thought it was a CHIP and stayed well clear. (No, I did not have imposter CHIP riding gear.)
