Title: Speedo rebuilder
Post by: Curtis Harper on August 22, 2017, 09:13:50 AM
Someone mentioned to me that there was a speedo rebuilder up north somewhere that has parts fro the veglia and ITI units from 98 and on bikes. Anyone know of it has truth to it and who they may be?

I had Peter Bond repair two Ambo gauges a year ago. He is in London. He did a very nice job and has artwork to create a number of gauge faces. I plan to use him again soon. If you look on his website the Moto Guzzi Veglia example is the gauge he restored for me. I forgot to tell him to re-set the mileage to 00000. He can set it to anything you request.

See the following from Greg Bender:

I had 2 speedos done at two different places, both great. Saw Jonathan's Eldo mentioned in the Bender sight and it is superb.

My odometer and trip meter died but the speedo worked.

I bought a new one from my dealer and the mfg logo has changed from ITI to hUR and dated 2006 with same white case and face for V11 Le Mans 2003.

These speedos will only get harder to find.
