Title: '14 Cali 1400 tour bars ?
Post by: guzzimaster on August 23, 2017, 10:43:12 PM
Hey, Has anyone with a '14 Cali Custom swapped handlebars for the black tour handlebars?  AF1 States I have to also get all new brake lines & Throttle & clutch lines.  Turns a $350. handlebar purchase into a $500+ nightmare  :whip2:  I'd really like the taller handlebars.
Anybody done this?

Before doing that you might try the risers from guzzitech.  They bring them up Over an inch and back a inch.

It can be done. It however requires a lot of dismantling. A local guy did it, he says it's relatively easy (for him), you just need to follow the instructions in shop manual.

Hey Guzzimaster
I have a set of the guzzitech risers that you can try if you want to.  Give me a pm and let me know. They aren't for sale but they are easily installed without moving the controls and you could see if the change would work for you.   A lot cheaper than the other option.

Thanks to Groundhog105 I might be able to try out the risers.  I'll post what I learn so other '14 California owners will have more info.  Thanx Groundhog
