Title: Main fuse ECU reset.
Post by: MotoBug on August 24, 2017, 01:14:52 AM
Hi folks. Just hoping for some up to date info on pulling the main fuse to reset the ECU learning parameters. Seems to be mentioned in old threads but nothing conclusive or detailed enough to know if it works or how to do it.

Reason being I've recently fitted Staintune mufflers on the V7II and would like to improve running. I'm getting some popping on decel and a few times when stationary it's made a sort of thwacking? backfiring? sound when blipping the throttle.

Give me a call and I'll explain. I simply don't have the time or energy to go through it all over again on the web.

Sort of business hours would be polite.

Thanks Pete. I'll try now but let me know if it's not too close to beer o'clock

All clear thanks. Third schooner for me and the world almost starts to make sense. I'm having a spell off the beer atm so have one for me. I'll owe ya. Coopers sparkling ale is my preferred but I didn't mind a Reckers when I lived in Sydney.

Cheers  :boozing:
