That bike's on Long Island.

Now that is a truly great tiddler. I remember those from the sixties. I liked them better than the Triumph 200 cc bikes.

The Triumph 200 bottom end was a bit fragile.
The works trials riders who had them were told to spend as much time in the water as possible to cool the oil down.

This is a nice looking 250cc. Not necessarily a tiddler when it was first manufactured, since the largest BSA was a 650, not a 2300cc bike. I always liked how BSA slathered their bikes in chrome. Where the Japanese (and BMW Toaster Tank) painted the tanks, then attached some metallic panels over the paint, the Brits took a totally different approach ........ chrome the entire tank, then mask it off and apply the paint over the chrome. So rich looking!

These must be entirely different to the horrible C15's I rode as a kid! They had very, very little to recommend them. OK, being honest they were vile! Probably fine now as a bit of trendy garage art but as a vehicle? I'd rather gargle nitric acid!
