Title: Wanna' go for a ride in 2021 ?
Post by: Huzo on September 15, 2017, 05:26:04 AM
Just wondered if anyone wants to rendezvous at you know where for a mass WildGuzzi ride to Mandello del Lario in 2021. There might be some bikes there...
Chance to put a face to the personalities and have some fun repeating in words what was here in text. There'd be no shortage of sparks, and an endless supply of permanent markers and a whiteboard for a knowledgeable Aussie (if he happens to be there). It's a long way off but it'll get here sooner than we might think.
Plus I was just thinking....
It's 4 years away, that comes to only $80 a week and you can ship your own bike from home, pay for flights and all accommodation and probably have money left over.
How can there be an excuse not to go?

I was thinking about it, sounds good, the Italians know how to party. Been checking freights/flights to Europe, Air Canada seems to have some good deals on bike shipping .

Yes, I'm thinking about it!
I don't think freight will be a problem, but which bike to take???

The guy I use ships bikes into and out of Portland and Felixstowe
I have no commercial connection but you can google Get Routed or Brent's Bikes Abroad for info and quotes if interested. I've used both.

Well anyway, even if it didn't start from Calais, a pre arranged muster point at a given location and date could be arranged.
