ever had that feeling when you realize you had an identical item in your hand with zero miles and you could have bought it for a song? Marsh Motocycles was shutting down, and there it was on the shelf..."Naw, what do I need that for?"....

Don't feel bad, it's like a stamp collection. If it's unstamped (or 0 miles in this case) it would probably be worthless anyway.

Sort of like the (non-zero mileage) clean, stock 1972 Kawasaki H2 (750 triple) I sold for $200 to a friend back in 1984? Of course I bought it for $400 the year before and was trying to get my friend into motorcycles. It worked, although that wasn't the ideal first bike... for either of us.
They are quite collectible now with some of them getting shipped back to Japan by collectors. This isn't quite the same as your situation but it feels like it to me.

This is the speedo I have on my T3. It was on the bike when I bought it. It's that a police model too?

Check the difference in the birds...I don't know the dates for either logo

Convert or G5 with the stick bird would be my guess.

Agreed. It's not an Ambo or Eldorado PD spedo, they didn't have a trip odometer IIRC. But the PD Convert did.

I think the disk brake eldo police had the trip meter. My Convert civvy (also large face speedo) did. My Ambo police issue (the big one with the jeweled lights all over) did not.
