Title: NGC Hi tech non electronic wrist watch using silicon vibrating disk
Post by: Jurgen on October 03, 2017, 04:41:55 PM
Someone posted a link some weeks ago about a new wrist watch development using a single etched silicon disk that vibrates about 6 deg. in rotation at 15 bps.  No balance wheel, no pallet fork. I was fascinated but can no longer find the link or remember the watch company that developed it.  Can anyone lead me to that link?

I remember it was *way* out of my price range..
Maybe it was some of Tom's "clickbait?" I'll search, too.
edit:
I give up..

Thanks, Chuck.  I found it.  It is from Zenith Watch Co.  I'd have to sell my house to buy it.
