Nice looking bike.
When did Guzzi move away from ss1 Carbs?
-
It looks like a "bitsa" to me. Later tank, fenders and taillight bracket. The "toe only" shift pedal was only used in '70 AFAIK. Would be interesting to know the engine and frame numbers. With the SS1s, it should be an "A-series" Ambo. "Unrestored" - not quite. Certainly not original paint on the tank and it looks like the fork lowers have been repainted too.
And the usual question: chrome bores?
-
My old 1970 Ambo had square slide VHB 30 Dellortos.
Don't think that many 750s had the SS1s. I know they came on some if not all V700s.
Most folks replaced the SS1s with the VHBs.

doesn't say "original" or "collector's item". still think it's a nice looking bike. clean, nice bags and windjammer

I don't want another Eldo but this one is getting to the point where I can't not buy it.
