Might be the race actually starts Saturday night around mid-night, central time.  If you're on the west coast around 10 PM.

I pay for the season's subscription and use the motogp.com site or their dedicated iOS MotoGP app. This way I don't have to know when to start recording and can see both the circuit time and corrected local time for each practice, qualifying session, and race event at any time.

I'd much rather pay for a season's worth of MotoGP action than a monthly DirectTV or other cable subscription... :D

Or, PI doesn't have the long straights similar to some other tracks where their higher HP can help them out.

quite some good quals from MM, Zarco & Mav.

Show is on Bein tonight at 8:50 PM central time.

Today's WSBK race was delayed, I don't think I got the whole thing on DVR.  I'll switch it on after the news is over.

One of the fastest if not the fastest track they visit front straight is about a 1km and the entry and exits are not exactly slow. As someone said Dovi ended up having a bit of a slide so one of his earlier times were taken.

Dovi says he crashed in FP4 and in qualifying he made 3 mistakes on his fastest Q lap because he didn't have a  positive feel then.  His  Q lap was 1.110 sec. slower then Marc.  The race could be wet or dry.

regarding PI:  The wind was so bad that Ducati had to revert to the old front fairing no doubt affecting high speeds.

regarding WSBK:  SOS.  spoiler alert (below):

The fast track works against the Ducati's in that there are few hard acceleration zones where they tend to be best at, the fast flowing track does not play into that strength.

30 minutes before the start here. KTM 1-2 in Moto2.
MotoGP has 2 KTM in the front rows.
How cool would it be to see one of them in the top 6?
Sounds like the race will be flag to flag.

wow. another great one.  Great racing all the way through,  six guys going for the lead in the beginning and the last part among 3 for 2nd.  You can guess who won.

Each race gets better.

I usually don't watch all 3 races  of Moto GP but this time I did.  Moto 3 was crazy competitive, race leaders changing almost constantly, some others falling off the track, even some violently flying off the track.   Moto 2 was more sane, typical of what I'm used to watching.  Moto GP was just like Moto 3 except w/o so many riders falling off or flying off.  Like Marquez said afterward, he was just biding his time to take the lead.  But perhaps if the 3 Yamaha riders behind him hadn't fought amongst themselves to beat each other  they may have been able to catch him.  Still a GREAT race and no 1 got hurt.    Dovi was never a factor.    Zarco is amazing battling both the factory `17 Yamahas on his `16 Yamaha bike.  Ducatis finished from 13th to 21st.

The post race comments given by Rossi were... How do I say it???

He sounded really enthusiastic to have been in the fight and to be on the podium. Kind of like his fire is still burning quite hot.   :thumb:

Did anyone else notice the broken tail section of MM's bike. They were definitely bumping and grinding out there.

Fun race to watch.

Subscriber as well. Do yourself a favour; re-watch the race but choose camera 3 in the options.
Grid to Park Ferme on Mavericks's bike. Wow!

Yeah, I saw that too.  I think Zarco bumped him.  Marc has met his match in aggressive passes.

Paraphrasing Rossi's post race interview: "... aggressively and contact during the race is raise a lot. Especially when the young riders arrive from Moto2. This is the game. If you want to play it is like this...."  Said the guy with tire marks on his shoulder from contact with MM.

The lead group at PI was certainly fun watching.  The lot of them were quick and fearless to pounce if barely a crack was left open.  Like the old sayin' goes "don't leave the door open then try to slam it after the guy has walked in".
