Title: 2017 V7 III Racer, clutch action.
Post by: Roebling3 on October 23, 2017, 09:45:51 AM
My Racer has ~1600 miles from new, in July 2017. The cable operated clutch action has always felt more like a hydraulic, with air in it; as in difficult to feel the 'play'. I left it alone, as delivered, 'til yesterday when the clutch began to drag. It got rather ugly in traffic, having to shut the engine off to change gears at a stand still. The only adjustment site on this bike is the lever at the rear of the transmission. There is no adjustment at the typical hand lever location.  Thank you for any help offered.  Good fortune,  R3~

There's no adjuster at the perch now, really?

Or somewhere inline?

I know, old post in the wrong location ... but ...

The V7 iii bikes do have a normal adjuster at the clutch lever.  Kind of hard to push the rubber cover out of the way, but once done, just that old school twist the adjuster type of thing.
