I just heard on the radio that music legend Fats Domino passes away at age 89, I was lucky enough to see him perform years ago.

I think anyone would recognize his voice, and has had one of his songs rolling around in their head more than a few times.

Being from New Orleans, Fats Domino has provided the soundtrack of many days for me. My daughter (a big rock-a-billy fan) loves his music, too. In his latter years I hoped for more recordings, but I suppose he has given us all he had to give. Godspeed, Antoine...
