I know that Rod Coates and Charlie Best had something to do with that motor . Of course that 500 was special , developed from Triumphs efforts to go GP racing in '66 .

Sonny Routt...? Maryland based engine builder.
He made some 910 kits that I lusted after but never could pull the funds together to acquire to drop onto one of the Pre-Unit Twins that I had owned...
