Title: Replacement shock opinions

Hello

I want to replace the OEM rear shocks on my sons 1984 V65C. 320mm.
Looking for information/options and suggestions.

We put Hagon's on my son's V50-III and he said it made all the difference in the world.

They were relatively inexpensive along with the Racetech front springs and heavier oil weight. 

He's 180 lbs.

Hagons work great for lighter bikes. I like Ikons for heavier machines.

I did the Hagons on mine too.  Email Dave and tell him what you have and how much you weigh along with any cargo/passengers you may carry.  He'll set you up.

Another Dave Quinn/Hagon fan here.  The bottom end slightly-over-$200-per-pair ones work very well for me.

For heavy duty use I like Hagon Nitros. Another Dave Quinn fan here.

Depending on the bike HD shocks will work and you can get them cheap.  Just measure.
