Ask for pictures of the new chain and sprockets on the Gold Wing.

I'm amazed how all three seem to also be a 2007 Kawasaki, according to the right side buttons. Magic!

I've noticed that the verbiage and syntax in theses CL ads appears to be evolving into more credible content. IIRC, years ago, the descriptions in these types of ads were almost unreadable, as English sentences. I'm not sure if the scammers becoming slightly literate is making the scams more successful, or not.

Additionally funny is that he has 2 big bikes that you'd never use the higher gears on.  Molokai is a small island.

There's something else going on here...it's getting smarter at drawing you in...the bots are learning how to do this...this can't be a real ad...world domination of the www thru craigslist scams

I bet we found out about this in the news someday

Chuck,
Yes, that's my point. The ads are still very crude, but have more creativity.

The proper lack of right colloquialisms will always trip up a scammer from a different region.

It also helps spot the scam -- and the origin of the scam -- by noting all of the posted examples are for the same year Kawasaki with an automatic transmission.

Yeah....if it's on an ad in Hawaii and Conn. then there's other ads in other states.  Big pond to be fishing in.

Come on guys. When you see ads like that just tell yourself "Not my monkeys, not my circus" and walk away.
