I stopped by the Giant Eagle Store and picked up one bag of small Twix bars. I often get no kids stopping at 'Trick or Treat' anymore, but earlier this evening, the doorbell rang.
When I opened the door, there stood three young women, Moms, I assume, with at least 7-8 children, all in costumes.
Overwhelming number of kids! So, I asked which ones should be first. At that moment, a beautiful little girl of no more than 5 or 6 said, "let the little ones go first."
So, once again, we learn from the children.

Here on the border, we get pickup truck loads of trick or treeters from Mexico. They are so appreciative for any little piece of candy you give them. I was also out in the desert, on my sons atv checking it out for him before deer hunting this weekend, and watched a young border patrol officer handing a couple of pieces of candy through the steel rungs in "The Wall" to some Mexican kids in costumes....very cool! :thumb:
Rick.
BTW, I felt like taking out my phone, and snapping a couple of pics, but didnt want to risk getting him in any trouble...you never know these days.

I went to my Daughters place for Halloween, they had something like 500 kids at their door.
We all remarked on how polite they were.
