Does this commercial get it? I think in many ways, it does. Sort of a 21st century version of 'you meet the nicest people on a Honda.' Some of you here may remember this.

Good commercial but I'd rather be on a Moto Guzzi.

I get you wanting to be on a Guzzi. So do I. I posted only thinking that this ad approach might be the approach Guzzi might want to take in approaching the American market, vs so many of their Euro style ads. Sure, they appeal to Europeans, but the USA is a huge potential market for Guzzi, so why not advertise to us? Make us want to ride to places unknown on Guzzis.
Ahhh .... it's probably hopeless, but one can only hope.

Like you said. It's similar to their older ad campaign. Just get them out to buy a motorcycle. Attracting new people to buy into a "lifestyle".

Nicely done!

I've seen that commercial a few times and I really like it. Very much in the same style as Why We Ride, one of my all time favorite docs.
Yeah, it would be great to see an MG in spot like that but I'm not holding my breath.

The classic and best Honda commercial (imho)

New Goldwing ad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrC-FpZaqfk

That's an awesome ad.
I live that they threw in the old goldwing, too. Shows you they meant more than "look at all of our new bikes! buy one! buy one!"

The first generation 4 cylinder plain bikes have more personality.

I spent a grand total of 10 minutes on an early 1968 CB750 (in 1968.) At that time in my life, I guess I didn't think about bikes having a personality, ( though I certainly do, today.) It'd be interesting to hear from someone who spent a lot of saddle time on the old CBs to do a road test on the CB1100.

Those adds make me want to load up my bike and go on a motorcycle trip. I really like to go on motorcycle trips!

Great ad, and a positive message to the non-riding public about motorcyclists.

Love it, sums up why I ride.

There have been some really good Honda ads, but I don't think this is that great. "Why did we spend a night in Reno?" Come on who should say that?
