Can't tell what it was, but it looks like it's sporting big carbies, and a Rennsport exhaust.
The tail looks like others I've seen on the web usually with an agostini fairing http://www.austinvintagecycle.com/1976-moto-guzzi-850-le-mans-racer-test/ (http://www.austinvintagecycle.com/1976-moto-guzzi-850-le-mans-racer-test/) , it might be Agostini as well.

Could be good, but I'd like to see some receipts for the motor.

Ooh! "Tubless whells"! Gotta' have it...  '77 would be the original Le Mans 850, not a Le Mans II.

Can you add tubs to those ? You can carry a lot of cargo that way.

Whoever painted this bike butchered it.  Maybe he's color blind.  :boxing:

One front disk is braked while the other is free wheeling?

And the mufflers are dangling. With DeLotro carbs plus the tubless whells the phone should be ringing off the hook.

Wonder what's really going on here?

Forks have been changed (marzocchi ? both right side legs? ) and one of the legs has had the tabs for the caliper snapped off. I think he tried to make up for it by installing a (Performance Machine ?) 6 piston caliper on the other side. He should have removed the other disc.

I wonder if this bike was raced, because is definitely wasn't well loved.

Looks like all of the caliper mounting tabs are there, and on the front of the sliders, to me.

imho a less molested LM2/CX100 is this one and the price is not bad either  https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/mcy/d/1980-moto-guzzi-cx-100-lemans/6334760151.html

You are correct, My eyes are starting to go. I wonder if that front caliper is still linked.

What is with the headers? Why post a photo that looks like they are rusted off at the connection or am I seeing things?

Maybe the pipe has to be pulled apart to use the center stand.
