Title: Very cool 69 Greeves Ranger on BaT
Post by: sdcr on November 10, 2017, 08:08:43 AM
Neat details on this Trials bike- becomes Trail Bike. I don't recall any other trail/dirt bike with a leading link fork!

Being auctioned in South Carolina, on Bring a Trailer.

In the late 60s two of my friends each bought one of these.  They were the most offload capable bike you could buy in that era.

Several other manufacturers used leading-link front forks, one of them was Sachs.

The handlebars on that Greeves look rather odd, a motocross type bar would look more appropriate IMO.

I just sold a DKW (Sachs) with the leading link.  Fun bike, quite fast for a 125cc.
