Title: Dang! sold out from under me.

I was supposed to go and look at a 1972 Nuevo Falcone on Sunday, but the man called and said he sold it today. Bummer.

Bummer, happened to me recently with an original owner 74 eldorado for 2k. Deal was made and I was on my way to pick it up.  I’m sure we’re not the only ones. Still smarts though

When things like that happen to me I figure it was for the better.  And often times later it comes true.  :azn:

That is a disappointment, but the jungle ain't a fair place!
I learned well and early when selling that the sale is to the first one with the cash, not the first one with a promise. It's always the $$$!

At least he called.  I'm trying to sell a motorcycle now, and I've had more guys say they're coming to look at it, but don't let me know they're not actually going to do that, than I've had actually get here.

Back in the early 80s I sold tires for a couple of years on 100% commission. Boy, do you bring back not all that great of memories. Sad part was I still made more money than I made my first year teaching just a couple of years earlier.

Maw,  I'm not mad at him. Money talks and besides mine, there were no other calls on the bike. (Until yesterday)

There are plenty of them for sale here. This one was a decent runner and  complete for 3500 euro.
