The good news is that the grille was hot! :thumb:

Was it a Loop or a Tonti that sent it flying?

Fresh roadkill :thumb:. I think I’m up to 6. Around here ya gotta get a tag from the police, ya don’t want to get caught with venison without a tag. Possible jail time...

Had that happen a few years ago on a secondary drive to my property and didn't find it until it was lets say a bit ripe.

I hate deer. In Montana they were stupid as heck and always bolted from the roadside right in front of you. At least in Florida, they are a bit wiser, and generally stick to the road shoulders.

Wow - I have little experience with such things, but I am envious. Always wanted to find somebody who would mentor me in deer dressing - No, not the Halloween kind.
I did make some good friends one summer in my thumb gypsy days by showing up to a party ( I was hitchhiking around, knowing I'd find one sooner or later ) who were cleaning a fresh kill racoon on the front lawn when my road host parked us.
EDIT: "Pre-grilled" .... that took me a few minutes. My compliments to you, sir, [kenvil1] for your use of the vernacular.
Oh, and I had to check the spelling of vernacular. Another of those words that see such rare use.

You must have hit your door dash app.

He'll be all stiff in the morning. Straighten him up in the front yard as an ornament.
