Title: Stock Bassa front brake light switch available anywhere?

[Zoom Zoom] provided a part number for an aftermarket switch that's close but it does not appear to be sealed in the same manner, and the example Radio Shack shipped requires some jig-fiddling to make it trigger properly.

Testing indicates that the aged stocker is still working, just requires - you guessed it, some adjustment to the triggering mechanism to make it go off reliably.

I'm on the verge of just putting a little aluminum foil behind the ball bearing that lives in the pocket in the brake lever and serves as the messenger to the switch when the lever is moved. But before I start getting creative, is there a stock switch source? Our usual providers don't show it on their websites.

Wow - thanks so much guys.

I guess this means that I'll have to pass the trophy on my fireplace mantle on to you guys - You know, the one that says " Best Internet Search " on it.

Fortunately it was designed to be split in two, so you can share it. I'll have to dig through my stuff for it though - the fireplace mantle is in a box somewhere, since I'm packing to move.
