We then blasted back to El Paso, Grisso got about 42mpg, but the V7III damn 68.7 mpg running between 70 and 90. Then next day we added about another 100 miles.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/6a56137194c1557184ac110a600e7b07.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/dbb37a23948c98d1a3951d72d61c4c8f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/e5a519b3c07fac42ed33b51fb3a2ce7a.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/e766a0ca394d7d05cad7eacc2252cf7d.jpg)

:1: My V7 III doesn't get near that mileage, it must be due to all of the in-town riding we do.  Nice pics, thank you for sharing!

My wife usually doesn't either, must be due to the fact that I was riding extremely mellow.breaking in the Grisso. The Harley ride was shocked that the "little" 750 could do that well and walk away in a canyon. Lol

Must have been one heck of a tail wind to get 68mpg 70-90 mph.  What are you normally getting as an average mpg or is 60mpg what you expect normally?

Usually in 50's, but we stayed much slower than we normally run and it was down hill gradually for 50 miles with about 15 mph tail wind

I went a 151 miles before the light came on with the first fill up that I'd tracked with the trip meter.  I'm working on the second tank now to get a feel for her average mpg..  I hope mileage will improve as I become a smoother rider.

The light on my Anniversario often comes on about 165 miles, but there is still lots of gas in the tank.

Per my experience, gas in Texas is worth about an extra 10% mpg as California gas.
