Yesterday at the toys for tots run I ran into the dude that let me use his shop to give the old bike a face lift. He was surprised
I still had it and sent me some 20 year old photos

How is that possible?

How is that possible?
Mostly by paying attention to how I took it apart- and a Polaroid camera

And it still wins awards

Amazing to compare the nice and elegant little Italian bike to the big Harleys and other Vtwins with all their Christmas Tree decorations....

I was thinking I'd get one of those get back whips for the old bike, do you have those in 🇩🇰 Denmark?

Thanks for a bit of history...

That is a drop dead beautiful bike.

Did it attract any interest from the H-D crowd?

That really is a gorgeous bike, and I am sure the HD crowd just ignored it.

Sorry John...mine looks way better!!
:-)
Yours looks more road worthy for sure.

Hey Spud, good to see you here!
Are you making the battlefield trip next summer? I toured Wilson Creek National Battlefield not long ago. Hadn't been since Cub Scouts!

Thanks Prescott!

Yes, but I'm used to that. I think they just don't know what it is or what to say. Some make that confused dog look.
HD riders really have interesting comments about a trials bike in the truck. Uhhhh, where the hell do you sit on that thang??? Boy, I bet that's one un comfortable son of a #$%&*!

That's a nice lookin' bike.
Who is the old guy standing behind it?

We do have quite few Harleys and lookalikes in Denmark. If I'm not mistaken, the Danish Harley Davidson Club (6400members) is one of the biggest in Europe, they hosted the European Superrally in 2008 http://bikeronline.dk/?p=174
Harleys are though extremely pricy in Denmark, 50kUSD+ so it's primarily wealthy men in their 50ties who tries to buy back their lost youth or people with "alternative income sources" that rides the new ones ;-)

Going whether I need a knee or anyone else is crazy enough to put up with me for a couple of weeks. Hoping that Barber hosts the superbike races in September again. That seems to be a good time to ride.
