Should have said something about good tires.
Amazing that the front tire would probably still hold air, and the steel and aluminum is completely gone ... !

Geeze - even he recognizes what PsOS the 6.0s were!
Last ElDorado I bought had a worse front tire!
Todd.

He left out "good compression".

Didn't we have a member here who had drug a loop frame out of a waterfront warehouse in NYC that was in the same condition ? Seem to remember he was intent on restoration and we were cheering him on

I wouldn't be surprised if some of us have more than one.

The 45 I rode in high school was only slightly shinier than that one, but ran pretty well.---For a well worn Harley of that vintage.

The seller is right about one item: "...this thing won't last long." In fact, I'd say it's done lasting. More simply, it's done.
-
That guy on American Pickers would probably have paid 75,000$ for it.
-
I believe the seller lives near me...A few years ago I was looking into a Henderson 4 cylinder engine and it was 6 grand ,looked like a relic from the Titanic...It sold a few days later....

So it's a joke or a scam if it was in Belgium and not in Western NY state.......Too bad, I was just about to buy it...

What a shame,- sometimes your dream bike just shows up to be very hard to get at :embarrassed:

Dusty,- I dont expect you to expect me to know where the pic was taken, but what you're saying there sounds interesting. I just came across the picture while surfing the net, and am not able to find it again. I'm still a little in doubt though, whether you mean this seriously or not.
The picture looks weird to me, artificial in some way, like the cliff is made of decorated papier mache. But of course cliffs look different in different parts of the world. And I'm sure that the cliffs you have in Okla Humma are special and not to be seen elsewhere.
But I should think that the place would be easily recognizable ? What are the white and black circular stuff in lower right corner ?
/Ben

I think the circles in the lower right is the eyes of a bears face.
Interesting though.

Was just thinking the pi might have come from a known file .
Actually the picture could have been taken in several locations just East from here , or maybe in the Eastern U.S. or Canada .
Is that a late 60's Yamaha in the picture ?
