Title: another trike build
Post by: gearman on December 22, 2017, 10:51:37 AM
After my fiasco on the leaning trike I decided to make a scale 2by i and a 1by 2 and test the stability.I wish I could find a 500 rpm motor with remote control to shut it off while running  at different speeds and turning radisuses.SP

What is the rear drive?  I still think you'll be unhappy with a live axle -- IRS is the way to go!

Building a model isn't going to help test stability much unless you can get the center of gravity in exactly the same place as it would be with a Guzzi engine, transmission, etc. plus a full tank and rider aboard.

As long as the center of gravity is the same on both versions it should answer the dynamic question I want answered.   ME thinks.
