Title: NGC - Electron Guru Opinion Please
Post by: pehayes on December 26, 2017, 08:17:00 PM
Cleaning the in-law's house and found this cable.  No idea to what device or instrument it might belong.
Looks like a mini headphone jack.
Wire splits about 5' in each direction.
2" brackets at the ends of the wires carry a lamp (?).  Not sure if those are incandescent or LED but I doubt the F-I-L owned any LED device.
Plastic baggies says "G-LINK CABLE".

Any suggestions?  Otherwise I toss it.  I won't risk plugging into anything unless I know why.

looks like an early  SlingTV remote controller, throws your directv or cable from the box to your computer where you use it to change channels and run the box remotely.
