I never could get behind that pressurized carburetor concept, but those were pretty cool bikes all the same. Yamaha was trying all sorts of innovative things before their Star line became so popular...

funny how the water pump, rather than the turbo, has been responsible for the biggest performance gains on motorcycles.

 :1: The "purple hunter" in question was my six year old daughter.  She's not too picky about the make/model either, just as long as it looks good, and this one fits the bill nicely!

I missed the opportunity to buy one of these purple BMW K75 S models a few years ago. I vasilated a day too long about the color, and someone bought it.
