Received this just now from my friend Scott Evers at RIDE NOW Powersports in Chandler, AZ!!
I was asking him if they were going to get the new V7-III Carbon....Major bummer!
John, I was informed this morning that we will not be renewing our Dealer Agreement with Piaggio Motors...Vespa, Aprilla, and sadly Moto Guzzi will be leaving the Dealership. Effective immediately we are out of the Guzzi business..with the exception of current inventory.

Stornello's are all over Cycle Trader for $6995. Go offer them $5K for one JJ.

At least this time they're doing it with some manners. When they shut down the Piaggio relationship in Las Vegas, they just rolled the bikes into the back, took down the signs, and didn't even tell Piaggio.

I'm gonna go give Scott a talking to!!! :thewife: Actually, Scott is a cool guy and I've chatted with him extensively about beemers, guzzis, bugs and all points in between. Now I won't have a good reason to drop in and chat as the Guzzis and Vespas will be gone. I wonder how cheap the Vespas are now...

Wow! Bummer. Who would that leave in the PHX?

EPF in Prescott and OnAnyMoto in Tucson, as far as the list online shows. Nobody in Phoenix itself.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times on here; I have no remote idea how anyone selling Guzzi manages to keep selling them except by personal passion alone and a trove of money to bolster the ever diminishing sales. Thanks much to the good dealers who keep it going :thumb:

This particular dealership is HUGE, and housed under >130,000 square feet and they have 19 motorcycle / quad brands, except Kawawaski, which I heard is coming soon.
They obviously did not sell enough Guzzi's / Vespa's / Aprillia's to justify their sales objectives. I was there last week and they had about a dozen Piaggio bikes on the floor.
I don't know what the specific Guzzi sales numbers look like, globally, but I think they are selling "reasonably well in parts of Europe, and places like Taiwan. For most of the USA, I'm afraid its declining rapidly... :embarrassed:

It was in the works a year ago.
no way a multi line in multi towns is going to put up with their BS.

GoAz is a Vespa/Aprilia dealer. They are the logical choice.

Yes, but they NEVER took on Guzzi, despite all the pleas from some of their "Euro-centric / Pro-Guzzi "employees....
